Managing partner

S.E.A. Wontumi is the managing partner of the firm. He was admitted as a solicitor of the supreme court of judicature of England and Wales in 1960 and was enrolled in Ghana as a solicitor and Barrister in 1961.

He was a senior Legal and Lands Officer in the Lands Commission from 1961 to 1965. He was also the Solicitor/Secretary and Director of Administration of the Agricultural Development Bank from 1965 to 1973. He then joined the firm as partner in 1973.
He was a wealth of experience in a real property, conveyancing and company law .He has handled several large conveyancing transactions involving many reputable companies, families and individuals over the years and has earned a fine reputation as one of the most experienced conveyancers in of his areas of expertise is in the law of Trusts.



Head of the Litigation Department

S.K. Amoah is the head of the Litigation Department. He has diligently represented the firms’ major corporate and individual clients in very complex litigation matters.

He was called to the Ghana Bar in 1987 and worked for several years with the Ghana Ombudsman(which later became the Commission on Human Right and Administrative Justice) before joining the firm .
As the chief litigator, he has represented the firm in the highest court of the land, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court on several occasions. He has fast earned himself the reputation of being one of the finest advocates in the country to the credit of the firm.



Legal Expertise

Nii Arday joined the firm in 1999 after he had been called to Ghana Bar in the same year .

His areas of legal expertise are in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, telecommunications admiralty and maritime law. He has represented the firm in several contentious matters. He has also handled several intellectual property matters including several trademark matters. He has written articles for the bulletin of the International Trademarks Association (INTA).
He has been an instrumental in the transformation of the firm into a competitive modern international law firm.



Intellectual Property

Edward earned his LLB degree from the University of London in 1995. Thereafter he joined the firm in 2001 after being called to Ghana Bar.

He has represented the firm in several matters including family issues. He is also interested in intellectual property and as a result attended a conference organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Other areas of law that are of interest to him are issues relating to medical malpractice, commercial law and landlord and tenant.




YAW ADJEI AFFRAM Adjei obtained his LLB from the University of Ghana in 2002. Prior to that he had obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in sociology with a minor in political science also from the University of Ghana in 2001.

He was called to the Ghana bar in 2008 and has since been with the firm. He has represented the firm in several high profile matters. He is also a chess enthusiast and has participated in several local tournament in Ghana



Telecommunications Law

Nana Ama holds an LLB Degree from the Ghana Institute of management and public administration (GIMPA) Faculty of Law and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2016. She joined the firm same year.

Nana Ama in addition holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts and Spanish. She speaks two international languages which are French and Spanish
